ACTIVITIES

The Park is centrally located to all attractions and only 2.5 kilometres from the town centre. We are just 600 meters from the Hopkins River & a short drive to The Lady Bay;  Warrnambools main swimming beach and Logans Beach Whale Nursery & viewing platform or use the park as a base and explore The Shipwreck Coast and The Otways along The Great Ocean Road.

LAKE PERTOBE ADVENTURE PLAYGROUND

Great place for the whole family to enjoy with free BBQ's and picnic areas and plenty of space to run around or just sit back and relax.

FLAGSTAFF HILL MARITIME VILLAGE

By Day......Walk around the maritime village and be transported back in time to see, hear and experience the hardship of those who sailed the high seas. By night... experience Australia's multi-million dollar sound and laser light show, Shipwrecked! 5 mins drive


WHALE WATCHING (JUNE - SEPTEMBER)

The Southern Right Whale comes to Warrnambool's warmer waters to give birt to their calves every year. Come and watch them play just metres off shore from the fantastic viewing platform at Logans Beach. 5 mins away

 


HOPKINS FALLS

Located just 14 km north of Warrnambool, the falls are just a short drive from the park.




THE HOPKINS RIVER

Take a leisurely cruise up the Hopkins River on board The Spirit of Warrnambool, sit back, relax and take in the sites in air conditioned comfort. 600m down the road

Or cast in a line and try your hand at fishing

TOWER HILL

Explore Tower Hill extinct volcano, located judt 14 km west of Warrnambool, drive down inside and go on walks and get up close and personal with the local wildlife and 100's of different species of birds. 10 mins drive

 

THE GREAT OCEAN ROAD

Use the park as a base and explore the rugged Shipwreck Coast where many ships came to grief and the Otway Ranges, try The Fly treetop walk or even check out the Triplet Falls. approx. 1 1/2 drive
